I was born September 10, 1952. My sister, Pat (Patricia June Johnson Janssen) was almost four. Mother June and father Wesley Patrick (Pat) were glad to have their 1950's styled family complete, one daughter and one son. Dad died March 2013, and my friend is deeply missed. Mom lives with my sister; thank you Ken and Pats. I have done 7 things worthwhile in my life - no eight. As an 18 or 19 year old I disconnected with my parent's church and fell in love with the person of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Second, I met and fell in love with Kathy Bergeson. Third through sixth are the offspring of our love and passion. Kristina J. Johnson Ferguson (Gary, Weston, Grace) Kyle D.W. Johnson (Britta and Sigge) Kelvin W.A. Johnson (Monica, Kelly, Christopher Wesley "Kit") Kenny F.C. Johnson (Hannah) Seventh, Benjamin who came into our family in 2009. Eight, believing that all who don't believe are condemned, we entered God's service and served from 1981 to 1994 with New Tribes Mission in Colombia. There is no list here of what I did for employment or where we lived, that is not who I am. Interment will be in Alaska, "the Farm" in Holst Township, Ecuador, California, and Cannon Township. Survived by wife Kathy, children Kris (Gary), Kyle (Britta), Kelvin (Monica), Kenny (Hannah) and Ben. Grandchildren: Weston, Grace, Kelly, Sigge, & Kit. Also survived by June Johnson, June Bergeson, Pats and Ken, Rick and Linda, Bonnie and multiple nieces and nephews, as well as anyone who has read this far. Memorial services are scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Lancaster Covenant Church. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Wesley Johnson passed away at his home on Saturday, August 29th, 2015.
