Theodore Carl Jorde, 70, of Drayton and Grafton, North Dakota passed away at Northwood Deaconess Health Center on Monday, May 22, 2017.

Theodore was born at Drayton on July 23, 1946 to Theodore and Elsie (Fredrickson) Jorde.  He grew up in Drayton and attended school in Grafton.  Ted worked at All Seasons Laundry in Grafton for almost 12 years and often greeted customers that came in.  He lived at CHI Friendship in Grafton for many years.  Ted truly enjoyed people and was especially fond of ice cream and coffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenneth and a sister, Bonnie Lyle. He is survived by nephews, nieces and a sister-in-law, Pat Melland.

Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Austin Funeral Chapel in Drayton. Rev. Leroy Aufenkamp, presiding; Shirley VanCamp, soloist. Honorary pall bearers will be Ted's Friendship family.  Interment will be in Drayton City Cemetery.
