Thelma Genevieve Bolduc, 91, of Stephen, Minnesota, gently passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at home and with her family by her side.

Thelma was born July 18, 1929 to Calmer and Sophia (Wrubleski) Frovarp of rural Adams, North Dakota.  She grew up in the area, attended rural school and graduated from Walsh County Agricultural School, Park River, ND in 1951.  She continued her education by training as a nursing aide and working in the maternity and nursery wards of Deaconess hospital in Grafton, ND. On October 22, 1953 she married Robert (Bob) Bolduc of Stephen, MN.  Together they worked, farmed, raised their family and were active in community and church activities all their lives.  Most importantly to Thelma, she and Bob served together as Eucharistic ministers for several years in their local St. Stephen's parish.

Thelma is survived by her children: Robyn (Bob) Bolduc Oland of Frederick, MD, Michelle (Doug) Roise of Fargo, ND, Timothy (Jill) Bolduc of St. Michael, MN and Jonathon (Amy) Bolduc of Stephen, as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; several siblings, the love of her life—husband, Bob, granddaughter Ellianah Sophia Bolduc and great-grandson Andrew Roise, Jr. Throughout her life Thelma was a devoted wife and mother (grandmother and great as well), an avid gardener, ultimate homemaker, fabulous cook and baker, and was beloved by family, friends, and everyone having the privilege to know her beautiful soul.  Despite her genuine and signature tender heart, easily moved to tears, Thelma was also quick to find the humor in life.  She loved a good laugh and shared laughter was a sure way to her warm heart and perhaps the invisible bond of her best relationships.  She was a woman of great faith, courage, strength, spirit and wit, but most of all----love, " to the moon and back".  She will be so very missed by us all.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stephen.  Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the church from 12 noon until the time of service.  Please follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask.
