Sharon Ososki, 65, of Drayton, North Dakota passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Sharon Miller was born April 14, 1948 at Bremerton, Washington to Dale and Peggy (Rasler) Miller. Growing up in a military family she traveled much of the country while her father served in the U.S. Navy. Sharon completed her education in California. On August 7, 1965 she married Richard Ososki at the Red River Mission Church. The couple settled west of Stephen, Minnesota and lived there until 1971 when their home was destroyed by fire. They moved west of Kennedy, Minnesota that same year and have resided there to the present time. Sharon worked at the Developemental Center in Grafton, North Dakota until she started at American Crystal Sugar Company in Drayton. She retired in 2008 because of failing health. Sharon's most enjoyable times were spent with her grandchildren, baking and cooking for family and friends, and the occasional game of bingo. Family members include her husband of 48 years, Richard; daughters, Andrea (Dwight Rost) Knutson, Drayton and Michelle (Gary) Helland, Pembina; sons, Dale (Michelle) Ososki, Grand Forks, ND and Tim (Leah) Ososki, Drayton; 10 grandchildren, Brittney, Alyssa, Samantha, Jessica, Rebecca, Machayla, Kierra, Stephanie, Allison and Connor; a great grandson, Keegan; a sister, Gail Wilson, Oxnard, CA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Anthony; two sisters, Vivian Farris and Renee Fetters; and her in-laws, Eddie and Lois Ososki. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 16th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edward's Catholic Church, Drayton. Interment will be in St. Edward's Cemetery, Drayton. Rev. Joseph, Okogba, presiding; Earlene Lasch, organist. Honorary casket bearers will be Sharon's grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Austin Funeral Chapel in Drayton on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m.
