Sara Lee Remme, 49, of Drayton, North Dakota, passed away at Lutheran Sunset Home in Grafton on Thursday, February 8th, 2024.

Sara was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on March 10, 1974, the daughter of Charles Remme and Debra Bellamy. She grew up in Drayton and graduated Valedictorian of the 1992 class at Drayton High School. She went on to attend Dakota College at Bottineau and later attended Iowa State University in their Veterinary Program. Sara only had one year left to finish her degree and become a veterinarian when she was diagnosed with MS.

Family members include her father, Charles Remme, Grafton; stepfather, Francis Bellamy, Drayton; sisters, Julie Peltier, Grafton, Mari Larman, Hoople, Kayla (Christopher) Piekarski, Grafton; brothers, Tim Remme, Grafton and Wayne Bellamy, Hoople; as well as nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra; maternal and paternal grandparents.
