1:00 - 2:00 pm (Central time)
Robert Neil "Bob" Miller, age 64, of Hugo, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2026, in Lancaster, Minnesota.
Bob was born on March 11, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Eugene Miller and Noreeta "Rita" Pankonin.
Bob was a proud carpenter and member of Carpenters Local 322, where he worked for 30 years. He was a genuinely kind person who enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, always greeting you with a warm hello and a hug. Bob could make an entire room laugh and bring people together. Whether he had known you for years or had just met you, he could talk to you like he had known you forever. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, and especially cooking for the people he cared about.
The Blacksmith Lounge was like a second home to Bob. Over the years, he spent countless hours there sharing stories, laughs, drinks, and good times with so many great friends. Those friendships and memories meant a great deal to him, which makes it especially fitting to gather there one more time in his honor.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Molly Koecher (Amber) and Kristi (Jon) Daly; his grandchildren, Madison, Nova, Shea, Leo, Jax, Remy and Jonathan Jr.; his father, Eugene Miller; his brothers, Gene (Kathy) Miller and Keith (Kim) Miller; along with many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deb Miller; his mother, Rita Pankonin; his step mother, Rose Miller; his sister, Tine Springer and other loved ones who went before him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Blacksmith Lounge in Hugo, Minnesota. Everyone who knew and loved Bob is welcome.
Come have a Budweiser and a good time in Bobby's honor.
