Richard Lyle, 66, of Drayton, North Dakota passed away at his home on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Richard "Dickie" Lee Lyle was born August 3,1956 in Drayton, the son of Richard and Bonnie Rae (Jorde) Lyle. He attended elementary school in Bowesmont, Grafton and Drayton, graduating from Drayton High School in 1974. Richard was a "Jack of all trades" working at Texaco, Drayton Soil Services and Ososki Heating and Cooling. He worked at American Crystal in maintenance for a number of years before failing health forced his retirement. He loved to fish and had a reputation as "Mr. Fixit", always tinkering with something and trying to give it new life.

He is survived by his sister, Melanie Lyle Rose of St. Cloud, MN; a nephew, Dustin Rose and his wife, Danielle and their children, Lilly, Kaiden, Ian, Isabella, Jackson and Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bonnie Rae.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Austin Funeral Chapel, Drayton. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.  Rev. Leroy Aufenkamp, presiding.
