Rex Winger, 63, of Stephen, Minnesota passed away at his home on Sunday, December 10, 2017.  Rex Arlen Winger was born October 27, 1954 in East Grand Forks, Minnesota to Everett and Florence (Paetznick) Winger.  The family settled near Kennedy, Minnesota and Rex graduated from high school there in 1972.  He worked as a long haul semi driver for many years. Rex had most recently worked on area farms near Stephen.

Family members include his siblings, Charles (Ann) Winger, Belgrade, MN, Mark (Lillian) Winger, Newfolden, MN, Thomas (Patty) Winger, Douglas, WY, Mari Jo (Jason) Thomson, Drayton, ND and Kristi (Michael) Selfe, Boulder, CO; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Winger, Lancaster, MN and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, O'Neil Rude and a brother, Patrick.

Private family services will be held at the Austin Funeral Chapel in Hallock on Friday, December 15, 2017.
