Raymond Peter Masloski, 86, of Arbor Glen, Lake Elmo, Minnesota and formerly of Lancaster, Minnesota, passed away at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis, Friday night September 10th, 2021.

Raymond was born March 10th, 1935 to Anton & Mary (Polejewski) and grew up in St. Joseph township, Kittson County. Raymond enlisted in the service December 1953 with the U.S. Marine Corp. in San Diego, CA where he completed training March 24, 1954. He was assigned to 1st Division, 5th Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 1st squad George Company and was deployed to Korea DMZ 1954-1955 "6" company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd INF, for 18 months. He received his honorable discharge on December 28th, 1961 as Private 1st Class E-2. Raymond married Beverly Ann (Jackson) on June 14th, 1958 and lived in the Twin Cities area before moving to Humboldt, Minnesota. In 1968 they moved to rural Lancaster and were members of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, later living in Thief River Falls, MN from 2005-2011 when he returned to Lancaster. Raymond worked several jobs including Toro Manufacturing, MotorCoach Industries and Tenneco Gas Pipeline until his retirement.

Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly, his parents Anton & Mary, brothers; Louis, Edward and Harry, sisters; Margaret (Ben) Robuck, Eleanor (Hilson) Stewart, Martha (Robert) Mishnick and Elizabeth (Steve) Lockman. He is survived by his sisters; Victoria (Carl) Hallauer and Sophie (Anton) Olsonawski; his children Randall (Lori) and five children; Bradford (Faith) and two children; Brenda (Scott) Wallenberg and three children; Carrie (Michael) Coffield and two children; Darlene (Wade) McIntire and three children; Darla (Shannon) Boen and two children. Raymond is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, rural Lancaster. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Military honors will be accorded by the Lancaster American Legion.
