Peter Olson, 79, of Hallock, Minnesota passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center on October 5, 2021.

Peter was born in Hallock on November 28, 1941, the son of Peter and Charlotte (Johnson) Olson. He attended school in Hallock. Peter moved to the Twin Cities and worked for Ford Motor Company until his retirement. He and his friends enjoyed riding motorcycles and they traveled all over the country.

Peter was a very generous person. When his family or friends needed something he was always there to help. He liked to make people laugh and could tell jokes all day long. Peter moved to Karlstad, Minnesota about 10 years ago and had been a resident of the nursing home for the past three years.

He is survived by a daughter; five brothers and one sister. Peter was preceded in death by a son; his parents; and three brothers.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Austin Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Union Liberty Cemetery.
