Paulino Bernal Sr., 56, of Hallock, Minnesota, passed away on July 20th, 2026.

Paulino was born February 17th, 1970 in Cotulla, Texas, to Maria R. Bernal and Francisco Bernal Sr. Being a migrant, Paulino and his family would travel from Texas to Kennedy, Minnesota, and ended up spending the majority of his life there.

Paulino is survived by his spouse, Sandra Bernal; children, Cassandra (Jeremy) Bernal, Paulino Bernal Jr., Jorge (Shaye) Bernal, and Elvia Bernal; grandchildren, Noah, Gianna, Jasper, Yuleema, Jorie, Cruzito, and Juniper; siblings, Francisco (Ermelinda) Bernal, MJ Bernal, and Pedro Bernal; along with many nieces and nephews.

Paulino was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gilbert Bernal.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Paulino at a later date for all his family and friends to attend.
