Pauline Olsonoski, 98, of Lancaster, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center. Pauline Kraska was born in Richardville Township April 11, 1917 the daughter of John and Josie (Charneski) Kraska. She grew up near Orleans and attended country school. On January 18, 1938 she was united in marriage to Casimir Olsonoski at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. They farmed in Richardville Township until 1980 when they retired and moved into Lancaster. Casimir passed away on May 8, 1996. Pauline was an active member in her church and did volunteer work at The Pantry in Lake Bronson for several years. She has been a resident of Kittson Memorial Nursing Home for the past eight and a half years. Pauline is survived by her children, Barbara (Vincent) Kuznia, Minneapolis, MN, Judith Kukowski, Hallock, Carole (Jim) Svihel, Minnetonka, MN, Ted (Ruby) Olsonoski, Elk River, MN, Virginia (friend Steve) Olsonoski, Elk River, Charles (Debbie) Olsonoski, Lancaster and Alleyn (Lynette) Olsonoski, Fessenden, ND; a sister, Ann Gunderson, Grand Rapids, MN; a brother, Stanley (Eleanor) Kraska, Lancaster; 20 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Casimir; four sisters, Frances, Bernice, Agnes and Margie; a brother, Leo; and sons-in-law, Norbert Kukowski and Tom Makowski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, rural Lancaster. Interment will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Austin Funeral Chapel in Hallock on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
