Paul Anderson, 76, of Grand Forks, N.D., formerly of Hallock, Minn., passed away at Altru Health System, Grand Forks, on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023.

Paul LeRoy was born April 16, 1946, in Hallock, Minn., the son of Melvin and Ida (Lindquist) Anderson, Lake Bronson, Minn. He was raised in Lake Bronson and graduated from Lake Bronson High School in 1965. Paul served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Hancock from March 1966 to December 1969. After returning home, he worked at Cenex in Lake Bronson for several years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing cards. In 1988, he went to work driving semi for Marvin Windows, Warroad, Minn., for 32 years. He had almost 2 million miles accident free while working for Marvin's.

On Oct. 6, 1979, he was united in marriage to Linda Gjovik, of Hallock, at Lake Bronson Covenant Church. They lived in Hallock and had two children, Brady and Lindsay.

Paul is survived by his children, Brady (Ivy) Anderson, Grand Forks, and Lindsay (Steve) Koester, Evans, Colo.; grandchildren, Dylan, Isabell and Zachary Jenkins, and Laural and Aydin Anderson; brothers, David (Lynne) Anderson, Hallock, and Arlen Anderson, Coon Rapids, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his parents; and a brother, Gerald.

Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock, MN on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
