Patricia Jean Anderson, 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Drayton, ND on January 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia (Pat) was born to Oscar Sevrin and Marjorie Jean (Long) Evenson at Bob Long's farm north of Drayton, ND on November 16, 1926.  She attended Drayton Public School, graduating in 1945.  She married Charles Harris Anderson December 6, 1946, in Cavalier, ND.  Over the years, Pat worked part time at various local business including Sveinson's Drug Store, Drayton Creamery, Lillegaard and Erickson's, Carvell Drug and Raney Hardware.

Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and favorite mother-in-law.  She took great pride in her family and was involved in every detail of their lives.  Pat was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and the neighborhood children participate in various sporting events and activities.  She was a lifelong supporter of all the local sports teams, and rarely missed a game.  She was her family's greatest cheerleader!!

Pat was a member of Drayton United Methodist Church, Drayton United Methodist Women, Drayton American Legion Auxiliary, Ox Cart Trails Historical Society and Drayton Alumni Association.  She cherished her special close friends, swimming gals, Bible study group, Tisdale Manor friends and her church family.  She adored her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  Pat was a woman of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing.  She looked forward to the day she would be reunited with her loving husband, Harris.

Pat is survived by her son, Peter (Marie) Anderson of Drayton, ND; daughter, Karen (John) Schumacher of Drayton, ND; granddaughter, Erica (Derek) Bergstrom of Roseau, MN; grandsons, Michael (Rebekah) Schumacher of Drayton, ND, Tanner (Beth) Anderson of Rochester, MN, Cole Anderson, Grant Schumacher and Todd Anderson all of Drayton, ND; great-grandchildren, Eliana and Axel Bergstrom, Landon Mapel, Marly and Charlotte Schumacher and Sawyer Anderson; brothers, James (Joan) Evenson of Grand Forks, ND and Eldred Wayne (Penny) Evenson of Prior Lake, MN; sisters, Leona (Dale) Edblom of San Diego, CA and Marlys Evenson of Golden Valley, MN; sister-in-law, Delores Evenson  of Grand Forks, ND, as well as many nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Harris; son, Gregory Harris; infant great-grandson, Harrison Erick Bergstrom; parents, Oscar and Marjorie Evenson; brothers, George Darrel Evenson and Robert Evenson; sisters, Geraldine Evenson and Gloria Nelson, and brother-in-law, Norman Nelson.

A memorial service celebrating Pat's life is scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:30am at the United Methodist Church in Drayton. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Rev. David Sorrel, presiding; Special music, Shirley Van Camp and Rev. David Sorrel.  Honorary pall bearers wil be Patricia's grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Drayton United Methodist Church, Drayton Cemetery Association, Drayton Ambulance Association or Drayton Fire Department.
