Michael (Mike) David Hills, 73, passed away on May 22, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on September 15, 1950, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Drayton, ND, and spent his early years on a farm in Bowesmont, ND.

Mike dedicated much of his life to farming in Pembina County until the early 1990s, when he pursued his education at the University of North Dakota (UND). He graduated in December 1995. After earning his degree, Mike began a career in trucking, which allowed him to explore the country. He later moved to Oklahoma to be with his partner, Connie, where he resided until his passing.

Mike is survived by his partner, Connie Smith; his brother, Randy; his sons, Bryon (Valerie) and Eric (Karen); and his two grandchildren, Zoie and Colin. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Daniel, Barbara, Richard, Patricia, William, and John Jr.; and his parents, John (Jack) and M. Ruth.

A graveside service will be held in his honor on June 27, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Bowesmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your preferred cancer research organization.
