Marjorie E. Rasmussen, age 95, died on Tuesday. April 9, 2019, in Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.

She was born to Edward and Ida (Fennell) Rasmussen on June 29, 1923, in St. Andrews Township, Walsh County, North Dakota.  She lived most of her life in the Drayton area until moving to Grand Forks in 2014.  Marjorie's nieces and nephews were the loves of her life.  She loved baking and was well known as "the Cookie Lady." Marjorie shared her love through cupcakes, homemade candies and cookies and in lots of care packages filled with this love.  She also had a green thumb and loved gardening.

Marjorie is survived by her nieces and nephews:  Vonda (Keith) Knefelkamp, Gary (Denise Dalton) Kraatz, Diane Marciniak Fox, David (Mary Beth) Marciniak, and Bonnie (Randy) Graves, as well as many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Millard; sisters, Evelyn, Luverne and Lorraine; nieces, Yvonne and Darlene; and nephews, Merlyn and Darin.

The funeral service has been rescheduled due to weather conditions and will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 13, at Drayton Lutheran Church, Drayton.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Officiating will be the Reverend Charles L.E. Johnson.

Memorials may be given to the Drayton Sugar Bowl Senior Citizens Center.
