Lucy Lundell, age 94, Hallock, Minnesota, died Christmas Day at Kittson Memorial Hospital. Lucy was born April 8, 1920, in Kennedy, Minnesota and graduated from Kennedy High School. On April 8, 1940, she married Archie Lundell, Sr. They spent their years together farming and raising their family. Lucy was a lifelong member of Kennedy Covenant Church, where she served as organist for thirty years. After Archie died in 1987, Lucy continued living on the farm until she moved to Hallock in 2001. She is survived by children Archie, Jr. (Becky), Mary Lou (Robert) Hudnut, Keith (Mary Margaret), Elizabeth (Rami) Yelda; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sister Katherine Olson, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Archie, parents Fred and Lizzie Anderson, sisters Miriam Anderson, Demaris Nelson, Isabel Kindall, and Joyce Lundell. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kennedy Covenant Church. Memorials may be sent to Covenant World Missions or to a charity of donor's choice.
