On Monday, February 1st, 2016 Lloyd Johnson was called home by our heavenly Father, at age 86.

Lloyd Lennert Johnson was born November 15, 1929 in Hallock Minnesota to Ole and Louise (Freid) Johnson. He attended school in Hallock and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He worked for various farmers including his brother-in-law, Elmer Bergh, as well as Kiene Farms. He was drafted into the Army and served two years during the Korean Conflict. Upon returning home to Hallock, he met and married Ramona Gundmundson. They engaged in farming and raised a family.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona (Gundmundson) Johnson, Hallock; daughter, Lari-Ann (Jeffrey) Englund, Hallock; grandchildren, Falyn Johnson (Clark Weleski), Hallock; Taryn Ohmann (Cody Swenson), Lancaster, and Jeffrey Lloyd Englund, Hallock; great-grandson Kane Jeffrey Swenson; sisters-in-law Marjorie Johnson, Hallock; Jeanette Johnson, Hallock. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Warren and Louis Johnson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elsie and Elmer Bergh, and Lavona and Al Lerdahl; beloved sons Lloyd Johnson Jr. and Ryan Johnson; and daughter, Kathy Ann Johnson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 5th at 11:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Bronson.  Interment will  be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock.  A flag presentation will be made by Robert Cameron, Veterans Administration Officer. Pastor Kathy Levenhagen, presiding; Corienne Jacobson, organist and Galen Nordin, soloist. Visitation will be held at Austin Funeral Chapel in Hallock on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the funeral service.
