Linden John Anderson passed away Thursday, November 16th, 2023 at Kittson Healthcare Hospital.
He was born the second child of seven to Levin and Martha (Hoglin) Anderson on June 19, 1927 in Thompson Township, Hallock, MN. He attended the Two River Moen School. He was drafted into the Army at the start of the Korean conflict; was called home due to his father's failing health and was honorably discharged. After his father's death, Linden farmed the family farm until retirement; the third generation farmer on this land.
He was quite the prankster, had a quick sense of humor and was over all, a storyteller. He had a great memory and was the family historian. Linden was kind hearted and
hard working. He was a member of the Two River Deer Camp since his youth. The camp was made up of family, old friends and neighbors spanning many decades and was originally started by his grandfather, friends and neighbors back then. He was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving family members are brother Jim (Joan) Anderson, Brothers-in-law Kenneth Anderson and Kermitt Erickson; Sister-in-law, Judy Anderson. Favorite Uncle to 20 nieces and nephews, 42 Grand nieces and nephews and 45 Great Grand nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are parents, Levin and Martha; Brothers; Melvin (Frances), Ronnie and brother at birth, Sisters; Marlys Erickson, Leona (Swede) Larson and Janice Anderson; Nephew Kevin Larson, infant niece and two Great Grandnieces.
Family, friends and neighbors are welcome to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 26th, 1:30 PM, at Last Chance Trading Post.
