Linda Rose-Marie Kaul, 69, of Hallock, MN, survived this world and was welcomed into her eternal home with Jesus on Tuesday, September 8th beautifully surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on October 22, 1956, to Allan and Gertrude (Mireault) Thompson in St. Boniface, MB, Canada. Her family immigrated to Chisago City, MN, when she was a teenager and graduated from Chisago High School in 1974. After high school, she attended the University of Minnesota.

Shortly after, she met her husband, David Robert Kaul, and started a family. She raised her three sons in the Twin Cities area while working in retail and service areas. She moved to Hallock, MN, in 2007 and became a welcoming face while working at The Farmer's Store. Linda enjoyed warm weather, flowers, and plants. She savored time spent with family, friends, and grandchildren. She was full of life and light; filling every conversation with wit, love, and laughter that only Linda could bring. She loved her dogs, Zak and Runway, who provided her companionship and love. She was a member of Kennedy Covenant Church, and a blessing to everyone who met her. In everything she did, she would be sure to let you know that she was "Livin' the Dream."

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Gertrude Thompson; her son, Alex; her granddaughter, Katlin; and her best friend, David Kaul. Linda is survived by her twin brother, Rick Thompson; sisters, Gail (Dave) Walter and Jamie Morrison; children, David (Ashlie) Kaul, Jonathan (Katie) Kaul, and Erik Kaul; grandchildren, Allissa (Stacie), Raven, Haylee, Hanna, David, Mason, Addasyn, Alex, Logan, and Lily; and great-grandson, Carson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Kennedy Covenant Church, Kennedy, MN.
