LeRoy Larter, 93, of Lancaster, Minnesota, passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

LeRoy served our country on the U.S.S. Boxer during the Korean Conflict. He returned to Kittson County with the love of his life, Lettie. His passion for working the land was very evident. He enjoyed growing crops and raising cattle. While working the land, there was no better place for him than sitting in a John Deere tractor. LeRoy was always ready to share stories about farming, deer hunting, bird hunting, and fishing over a cup of coffee. A game of cards was also a good way to attract his interest.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his spouse of 66 years, Lettie, and brothers, Floyd and James (Dickie).

With heavy hearts, Les (Pam), son, and Colin (Amanda), grandson, wish to thank the neighbors and many other individuals that touched LeRoy's heart.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 28th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Lancaster Covenant Church.  Interment will be in Riverview Memorial Cemetery, Lancaster. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Austin Funeral Chapel, Hallock.
