Lawrence J. Lindstrom, 90, of Karlstad, Minnesota passed away at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls on Sunday, July 16th, 2023.

Larry was born March 8, 1933 in Percy Township of Kittson County, the son of Oscar and Christine (Nordling) Lindstrom.  He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Lake Bronson, Minnesota. Lawrence served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a supply records specialist. After completing his military service he worked as a construction manager for the Fluor Corporation and Jacob Engineering. His work had him traveling all over the world. Larry worked in Thailand, Syria, South Africa, and Venezuela to mention a few. Larry lived and worked out of California and returned to the area after retiring.

He is survived by a son, Steve Lindstrom, Mission Viejo, CA; daughters, Tara Lindstrom, Costa Mesa, CA and Kristina Craben in Texas; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Austin Funeral Chapel, Hallock. Military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
