Larry Duane Balderston, 66, of Lake Bronson, MN, passed away at home on June 22, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. Larry was born on July 20, 1957, to Darlene (Vagle) Balderston and Duane Balderston in Karlstad, MN.

Larry grew up on the family farm in Poppleton Township and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1975. Larry joined the Army after high school. After his time in the Army he worked for Keith Finney at the elevator in Lancaster and at the Lyberg and Diamond Farms.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He never married but enjoyed spending time with his nephews and other family members.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Darlene, his brother, Donavon Ray, Duane LaMar, Jr., and Neil; and his grandparents, Lawrence and Alta Balderson & Art and Nellie Vagle.

Family members include his sister, Roxanne Kulyk; niece, Lynette Steyn; nephews, Bradley and Jason Kulyk, grand-nephews, Caden, Dawson and Luann Steyn and grand-niece, Rheagan Kulyk. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Lancaster Covenant Church, Lancaster, MN at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Riverview Memorial Garden Cemetery, Lancaster, MN.
