Long-time Hallock resident Kay Colleen Rosengren passed the evening of Friday, November 15, 2019.

Born in Minot, North Dakota on April 18, 1937, to Llewellyn Lane and Gladys Colwell, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Quentin Francis Erickson, nephews Rene and Alex Erickson, nephew Jeret Colwell, and grand niece and nephew Ashley Kerrick Erickson and Quentin William Erickson. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Keith Rosengren. She and Keith are survived by Mark Rosengren, Curtis Rosengren, Kathie Rosengren Berlin, and Stan and Joyce Rosengren.

Kay's influence will resonate always with those who knew her. She was searingly insightful, unfailingly kind, endlessly creative, and the finest Trivial Pursuit player you'll ever encounter, all topped off with a deep, resonant love for all living things. To the people and the community that she loved, and to the innumerable students to whom she imparted her knowledge and wisdom over many years of teaching, she gave so much while never asking for anything. She is, and will be, greatly missed.
