Helen Elaine (Moore) Gillie, 78,  passed away peacefully March 6, 2022 in Minnesota.

Helen was born in Hallock, MN, February 29,1944, to Blaine and Clara Gillie. She graduated in 1962 from Hallock High School. She spent time in nursing school at the University of North Dakota and later accepted a position at Blue Cross Blue Shield and then worked for Honeywell, where she retired.

Helen enjoyed many years sewing, quilting, and crocheting gifts for her family. Some of her favorite things in life were her rescue cats, Elvis, books, Cool Whip and Hallmark. She was known for sending the perfect card for any occasions and supporting many charities.

Helen is survived by her daughters Michelle (Jim) Anderson and Melissa (Joe) Sheridan, three grandchildren: Tiffany McLellan, Ashley (Adam) Ludwig, and Keegan Wolmutt. Three great grandchildren: Connor Buesgens, Logan Ludwig, and Presley Ludwig. Sister Susan (Steve) Johnston, brother James Gillie, and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Blaine and Clara Gillie, sister Bonita (Bruce) Anderson, and nephew Chris Such.

A Memorial Service to honor Helen's life will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hallock, MN Saturday, August 13th at 11:00 a.m.; visitation will be from 10:00-11:00. Lunch to follow. Internment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery Hallock.
