Gregory Emanuelson, 65, a lifelong Drayton, North Dakota resident died of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident near Drayton on Friday, May 20th, 2022.

Gregory Neil Emanuelson was born in Drayton on February 22, 1957, the son of Ray and Vivian (Maurstad) Emanuelson. Greg grew up on the family farm and attended Drayton Public Schools and Northland Community College. After his father retired Greg and his brothers took over the farming operation. In retirement he and his companion Brenda, enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Greg also enjoyed searching for those special items to collect at auction sales, yards sales, etc. He was a member of Drayton Lutheran Church.

Greg is survived by his brothers and sisters, Randall Emanuelson, Michael (Tracy) Emanuelson and Katherine (Robert) Knoff, all of Drayton and Kristi Emanuelson, Aurora, CO; friend and companion, Brenda Bridgeford, Drayton and her children, Tawnya (Kyle) Jenson, Drayton, Tasha (John) Cash, East Grand Forks; eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Vivian.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Drayton Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Skjeberg Lutheran Cemetery, rural Drayton. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the Drayton Ambulance or the Drayton Fire Department.
