Geneva M. Eddleman, 88, of St. Vincent, Minnesota passed away at Kittson Memorial Heathcare Center in Hallock, Minnesota on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Geneva Peterson was born November 27, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl and Geneva (Howe) Peterson. After graduating from high school she went on to pursue a degree in art at the University of Minnesota. In 1955 she married James Williams and moved to Pennsylvania. Geneva returned to Minneapolis and in 1969 married George Eddleman and settled in St. Vincent, Minnesota. George died in 1997. Geneva is survived by her children, Francis Cauthorn, Bryn Athyn, PA, Christopher (Tina) Sykes, Pontiac, MI, James Williams Jr., Hallock, MN, Rosemary (Tom) Baker, Humboldt, MN and Elizabeth Pitzen, Hallock; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and sisters, Dr. Janet (Charles) Walter, Lagrange, KY and Maren Frank, Johnson City, TN. She was preceded in death by husbands, James and George; parents; a brother and three sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Austin Funeral Chapel at Hallock. Interment will be in the St. Vincent Cemetery. Rev. Frank Johnson, presiding; Sharlene Klegstad, pianist and Galen Nordin, soloist. Casket bearers will be William Odenthal, Brian Hanson, Michelle Hiltz and Tom Baker. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
