Frances "Franny" E. Wilkins, 78, of Hallock, Minnesota passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock on Saturday November 5, 2016. Frances Elizabeth Knight was born April 20, 1938 in Blaine, Washington to Edgar and Elizabeth (Crabtree) Knight.  She married Leon Wilkins June 19, 1973.  They settled in Pembina, North Dakota. Frances started working at Wood's Brokerage and later became the Wood's family housekeeper and  nanny.  In 1993 Frances and Leon moved to Pennsylvania and lived there until 2001 when they settled in Texas.  Leon passed away in 2003 and  Frances moved to Hallock later that year.  Frances was a member of the Pembina Free Evangelical Church.

Family members include three daughters, Nada (Kelly) Winzer, Fargo, ND, Kristie Wilkins, Grand Forks and Karla Wilkins-Gatheridge, Hallock; seven grandchildren, Maxwell James Winzer, Tyler Lee Newton, Kelly James Newton, Mackenzie Ryan Burke, Justin Thomas Burke, Jesse Gatheridge and Brooke Gatheridge; a great grandson, Brantley Jaxx; and two brothers, Bruce Knight and Charlie Knight, both in Washington.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Tommy.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pembina Free Evangelical Church, Pembina, ND. Rev. Mason Peters, presiding.  Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.
