Eleanor Kraska, 91, of Lancaster, Minnesota passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center on Saturday, July 8, 2023.

Eleanor Veronica Graboski was born November 28, 1931 to Joseph and Rose (Olsonawski) Graboski in Tolstoi, Manitoba, Canada. She grew up on the family farm and was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. On September 29, 1951 she was united in marriage to Stanley Kraska in Tolstoi. The couple settled near Lancaster and farmed in Richardville and St. Joseph Townships for many years. They moved into Lancaster in 2013. Stanley died on May 16, 2016. Eleanor loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for family and friends, sewing and crocheting. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Family members include her children, a daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Mort, Ft. Meyers, FL; sons, Doug (Kim) Kraska, Zimmerman, MN, Dwayne (Julie) Kraska Inver Grove Heights, MN and Brian (Jillayne) Kraska, Hallock, MN; 10 grandchildren, Krista, Kyle, Logan, Tyler, Jordan, Blaine, Desirae, Nichole, Greg and Tayler; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Franz, Gimli, Manitoba, Canada; brother, Edward (Claudette) Graboski, Colborne, Ontario, Canada; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley in 2016; and a brother-in-law, Art Franz.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Fr. Joshy Mathew, presiding, Jillayne Kraska and Sue Albrecht, duet, Sharlene Klegstad, organist. Casket bearers will be Eleanor's grandchildren.
