Edward J. Carlson, 62, of Lancaster, Minnesota passed away at his home on May 22, 2023 after a long illness.

Edward Joseph Carlson was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 12, 1960 to Raymond and Lucille (Eitel) Carlson. Ed attended elementary school in St. Paul and high school in Forest Lake, Minnesota. After completing high school, Ed enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving from 1971 to 1982. He attended St. Paul Technical College and was in the Automated Manufacturing Technology and Engineering program. Edward worked at Schaak Electronics, Bradley Auto Body, Mounds View District 621 schools as the HVAC specialist. He was chairperson for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Student Chapter and Vice President of the student senate of St. Paul Tech. Ed was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He loved automobiles and belonged several car clubs where he often served as a judge.

Family members include his wife, Karen; brothers, Ray and Mike; a sister, Kathy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Carolyn; and brothers, Tom, Rick and Jerry.

A Celebration of Life Party will be held in Maplewood, Minnesota on July 15th at 1:00 p.m.
