Edna Erickson, 96, of Lake Bronson, Minnesota passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock, Minnesota early Saturday morning, June 2, 2012. Edna Victoria Erickson was born to Gust and Emily Hemmingson May 19, 1916. She married Harry Erickson November 24, 1932. A year later they purchased a farm in Hazelton Township. To this marriage three sons were born, Lloyd, Harley and Larry. Edna was very active in her church, The Mission Covenant Church. She taught Sunday school many years as well as singing in the church choir and many weddings and funerals throughout the area. She loved baking, quilting, traveling and growing flowers were a huge part of her life. Edna is survived by her three "Boys" Lloyd, Harley, and Larry and wife Ruth and many grandchildren, great grand children, and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 7th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lake Bronson Community Covenant Church. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Lake Bronson. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service. Wesley Staie, presiding, Barbara Staie, organist, Marjorie Hawk, soloist and Galen Nordin, soloist. Casket bearers will be Dorothy Anderson, Cindy Adams, Gordon Bernstrom, Ron Petersen, Neil Peterson and Darrell Peterson.
