DeAnna Marie Woinarowicz, 64, of Stephen, MN, passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, April 20th, 2024.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on April 2, 1960, to Alfred and Margorie Blawat, DeAnna's journey through life was marked by love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.

DeAnna is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Terry Woinarowicz. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

DeAnna's family and extended family were a source of love, support, and strength throughout her life. DeAnna and Terry built their life raising their kids on the farm off of HWY 220 until floods forced them to leave in 2010. She prided herself on making homemade meals and keeping their home pristine.  After moving into town, she missed the croaking frogs most of all. When they got all settled into town, she enjoyed going on golf cart rides with Terry. They also enjoyed spending time on the patio overlooking the field in their backyard, reminding them of the farm life they cherished so much. On the weekends, they would go to their lake home on the Rainy River. They enjoyed visiting family, going out to eat at the resorts, and entertaining friends and family around the campfire. Throughout her life, DeAnna spent time fishing, or rather getting her line tangled. She worked multiple jobs, making many friends throughout her life. For 17 years, she worked at Stephen-Argyle Central as the head cook. She loved putting smiles on the kids' faces and making the staff as uncomfortable as possible. Although she was a person who loved to have a good time, DeAnna's nail appointments and the Green Bay Packers would hold priority. She loved chanting "Go Pack Go" whenever her team would be beating the MN Vikings. If they weren't winning, she'd turn that TV off.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; her loving children and grandchildren; son, Christopher (Jessica) Woinarowicz and their children Jaxon and Sophia; daughter, Tiffany (Shaun) Watkins and their daughters Brooke, Bryn, Mila, and Ellie; and daughter, BreAnne (Brandon) Patterson and their children Eleanora, Hendrix and Lennon. DeAnna is also survived by her brother, Alfred Blawat Jr. and his children Austin and Ethan; her sister, Tina (Stephan) Mohs and their daughter Cassidy; her other mom, Joyce Woinarowicz; and her siblings on the Woinarowicz side, Davis (Tami) Woinarowicz, Todd (Nancy) Woinarowicz, Jason (Kari) Woinarowicz, Joy (Jeff) Edgar, Jill (Donnie) Woinarowicz, Dean (Janelle) Woinarowicz, Kent (Michelle) Woinarowicz , Julie Larson, Chad ( Shelia) Woinarowicz, Tim Woinarowicz, Cory Woinarowicz, Lance (Dana) Woinarowicz, and Jodi (Bryan) Szczepanski.

DeAnna was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Majorie Blawat; stepmom, Elvera; brother, Lane Blawat; sister Tammy Blawat; her other dad, Carl Woinarowicz; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephew.

A funeral service for DeAnna will be held on Friday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stephen. Interment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Red River Valley Hospice or North Valley Health Center in Warren.
