Dana Marie Mikolajczyk, 88, of Hallock, Minnesota passed away at Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Dana Napierala was born in Poznan, Poland on April 24, 1937, the daughter of Franciszek and Gertruda Napierala. Dana married Zdzislaw Mikolajczyk and were blessed with two children, Grace and Jacek.

Dana attended culinary school and she and Grace owned and operated Zrzanka Restaurant for seven years. In 1995, Dana left Poland and joined Grace in Hallock. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Dana is survived by her children, Grace Melin, Hallock and Jacek (Beata) Mikolajczyk, Poznan, Poland; grandchildren, Witold Mikolajczyk, Alexander (Sylvia) Mikolajczyk, Antoni Mikolajczyk, all of Poznan; and great grandchildren, Lena and Loni Mikolajczyk, Poznan.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, a sister, and her son-in-law, Gary Melin.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hallock.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Austin Funeral Chapel, Hallock.
