Camden Rolland Dean was born on June 16, 2008 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. He was Bryan and Trista's best friend and sidekick. He was so full of love, joy, peace and kind hearted. Camden loved everything unless it had to do with food. He was the pickiest eater. If he could have lived off of pancakes, pizza and chicken strips he would be happy. Cam loved everyone and wanted to make sure no one was left out. He tried very hard to always include everyone and never wanted anyone to be sad or hurt. He would often cry when seeing someone homeless on the side of the road. Cam recently cried his way into getting to 'adopt a child' and it is heartbreaking that he will not be here to start that relationship, but as a family we will take on that responsibility. He was the best big brother to Avalon when she was born. We knew they would be best friends. He was such a goofball that in 2nd grade he had his classmates calling him BOB because that's the name he liked and wanted to be called. At parent teacher conference his teacher had to ask if that is what we call him! That was the year he was the class clown. Before that he had been extremely shy, so we were glad he came out of his shell. When he was younger he had a face for everything. You would ask him and he'd show you his happy, sad, funny, angry, surprised and many more faces. Each and everyone fit Cam to a T. When Maxwell came he stepped up again as an amazing big brother. Camden loved reading – he was always such a bookworm. Recently his favorite books were "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". Camden also loved to play video games and watch YouTube channels of other people playing video games. He spent his summers biking around town with his friends and spending the summer like a typical kid. Camden often talked about what he wanted to be when he grew up and the last list was an dentist, chiropractor, architect, and pro football player. He was adamant that he was going to make a lot of money so he could give a lot of it to people in need and be able to spend a lot of time playing video games. He was loved by many and his tender heart touched everyone he met.

Funeral Services for Camden and Maxwell Dean will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, 4:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, Stephen, Minnesota. Rev. Michael Schendel will be the presiding minister. Music will be provided by Renee Jensen, organist and Leslie Widner, soloist. Casket Bearers: Bryan Dean, Doug Dean, Eric Dean, Tyler Gustafson, Dustin Gustafson, and Andrew Gustafson. Honorary Casket Bearers: Colton Eisele, Jack Sustad and Kasen Beasecker. Interment will be at the Stephen City Cemetery, Stephen, Minnesota.
