Brian Keith Johnston, 54, of Drayton, North Dakota passed away at his home on December 13, 2023.

Brian was born in Grafton, ND on May 12, 1969, the son of the late Lorraine (Samson) Johnston and the late Dennis Dietrich. Brian owned and operated his own sandblasting business, Johnston's Refinishing, for 20 plus years.  Brian held various jobs over the years, lastly he worked for Harrison Industries in Minto as a painter before early retirement.

Brian is survived by his wife, Angela Johnston, Drayton, ND; stepson, Dillion Jerome (Kayla), Grand Forks, ND; a stepdaughter, Alysha Jerome  (Nick), Cavalier, ND; Brian is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren; sisters, Loretta and Gayle of Drayton and adopted dad, Dale Johnston, Drayton. Brian's love of animals led to him rescuing several and making them his pets, which he treated like his children.

Arrangements are pending. Interment will be in the Drayton City Cemetery.
