Obituary

Brad Cosley, 47 of Humboldt, Minnesota passed away at Zahl, North Dakota on Monday, June 1, 2015. Bradley Earl Cosley was born August 30, 1967 at Cavalier, North Dakota to Richard and Peggy (Feick) Cosley. He attended school in Pembina, North Dakota and was a 1985 graduate of Pembina High School. Brad married Tracy Bill at Drayton, North Dakota and together they had three sons, Austin, Tucker and Tyler. Brad farmed with his family for several years before starting his own business, Cosley Seed. He also worked for CHS in Humboldt and Hallock, Minnesota. Brad was an excellent mechanic; able to repair and operate heavy equipment. He was currently employed at Horizon Resources in Williston, North Dakota operating sprayers and spreaders. Brad enjoyed vintage snowmobile racing and was especially fond of ice fishing on Lake of the Woods. He was a mechanically talented individual and was often asked for advice or help to repair many types of equipment. Brad was a loving father, uncle and friend who always met you with a big wave and smile whenever he passed. He is survived by his sons, Austin, Stanley, North Dakota, twin sons, Tucker and Tyler, both at NDSU in Fargo; his parents; Richard and Peggy, Pembina; brothers, Brent and children, Jake, Lisa and Logan, Pembina, Chad and Shannon and their children, Trenton, Grant and Weston, Pembina; a special friend, Jill Swanson, Hallock; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister-in-law, Kristin. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Evangelical Free Church at Pembina. Interment will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, St. Vincent, Minnesota. Rev. Mason Peters, presiding; Joel Burke, soloist and Betty Irving, pianist. Casket bearers will be Austin Cosley, Tucker Cosley, Tyler Cosley, Jake Cosley, Logan Cosley and Derrek "Buzz" Irving. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
