Bonnie Lyle, 79, of Drayton, ND, passed away at Unity Hospital in Grafton on Friday, September 25th, 2015. Bonnie Rae Jorde was born June 26, 1936 in Drayton, North Dakota to Theodore and Elsie (Fredrickson) Jorde. Bonnie grew up in Drayton and was a 1954 graduate of Drayton High School. She married Richard John Lyle in 1955 and settled in Bowesmont, North Dakota. The couple lived in Grafton a short time during the early 1960's and returned to Drayton. Bonnie worked at American Crystal Sugar, Kargel Furniture in Drayton and worked in home healthcare. She retired in 2001. Family members include a son, Richard L. Lyle of Drayton; a daughter, Melanie Rose of St. Cloud, MN; a grandson, Dustin Rose of St. Cloud and a brother, Teddy Jorde of Grafton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Kenneth. Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Austin Funeral Chapel at Drayton. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Rev. Leroy Aufenkamp, presiding; Shirley VanCamp, soloist and Karen Schumacher, organist.
