Barbara Jean Pantzer, 63, of Hallock, Minnesota passed away at her home on Friday, April 14, 2023.

Barbara was born November 5, 1959, to Kenneth and Lois (Dipple) Pantzer at the Kittson County Memorial Hospital in Hallock. She was the youngest of three children. Barb attended Hallock schools all through her youth. Her earliest years were spent on the family farm near Kennedy. The family moved to town when Barb was in second grade where she lived for her whole life. Barbara was active in 4-H, and was very fond of her pets. After her high school graduation in 1978, she attended Northland Community College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota where she majored in computer programming. Barb showed herself to be a hard worker by helping on the farm for many years. Later in her life she worked at Kittson Healthcare Center in the dietary department and had just retired in November, 2022.

Barbara is survived by her brothers Bruce (Virginia) Pantzer, of Grand Forks, ND, Brian (Linda) Pantzer of Cheney, Washington; nieces Jennifer Pantzer of Crookston, MN, Alice Scott of Grand Forks, ND, and Margaret Pantzer of Fargo, ND; great-nephews Noah and Cohen Scott; and Barbara's aunt, Joyce Paschke of Thompson, ND, as well as many cousins. Barbara was preceded in death by her father and mother, her uncle Ralph Turner and cousin Kim Turner.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2023, 2 p.m. in Austin Funeral Chapel, Hallock.
