Arlene Johnson, 75, of Lancaster, Minnesota ventured on her glorious journey to Heaven on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Arlene Ida Johnson was born February 21, 1939 to Bert and Nina Johnson of Lake Bronson. She was one of six children. Arlene grew up in the Lake Bronson area and graduated from Lake Bronson High School in 1957. On June 6, 1959 whe was united in marriage to Denal Johnson at Lake Bronson. Arlene worked at Red Owl in Lancaster, Northwestern State Bank and helped moved into the new building when it was built, Marvin Windows and Motor Coach Industries, retiring from there in 2004. Arlene also provided day care for many years and was much loved by the children in her care. She was a very devoted wife and mother. Her life was spent committed to God and was an inspiration to many people. Family members include two sons, Faron (Tana) Johnson, Hallock, MN and Shane (Denise) Johnson, Lake Bronson; a daugher, Kelly (Terry) Kukowski, Lancaster; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Johnson, Hallock; 11 grandchildren, Jordan, Ashlan, Keeyan, Karrah, Wyatt, Hannah, Amanda, Cole, Kellen, Logan and Jackson; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Hennessey; two brothers, Stanley (Roberta Frei) Johnson and Wally Johnson; two sisters, Patsy (Robert) Prosser and Marlys (Paul) Oistad and sister-in-law, Maryann Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Denal; an infant son, Derek; son, Dallas who passed away on November 8, 2013 and brother, Ronald. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lancaster Covenant Church, Lancaster, Minnesota. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Lake Bronson, Minnesota. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Rev. Galen Nordin, presiding; Julie Nordin, organist. Casket bearers will be Arlene's grandsons.
