Anne L. Sylvester passed away at the Kittson County Memorial Healthcare Center, Hallock,Mn on November 20,2013 at the age of 92. Anne was born November 4, 1921 to Emil and Ida (Schultz) Walters at Emerson, Manitoba. She married Kalvin L. Sylvester on Feburary 28,1942. Together they operated Sylvester Service Station at Donaldson, MN. Later they moved to Hallock, Mn. Kalvin was the Civil Defense Director for Kittson County. After he retired they moved to Grand Forks, ND. Kalvin passed away in 2000. Anne lived at Parkwood Place in Grand Forks, until she moved to the Kittson County Memorial Healthcare Center. She is survived by one son, Terrance Sylvester, his wife Mary, two granddaughters; Beth Wilson (Shawn) and Lisa Snyder (Chad). Anne has five great granddaughters; Kenzie, Taryn & Sadie Snyder & Madison & Morgan Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral Service is scheduled for November 27, 2013 at 10 am at Grace Lutheran Church at Hallock, Mn. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery Hallock, Mn.
