Ann Fredrickson, 80, of Drayton, North Dakota passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks on Sunday, July 7, 2013. Anna Mae Anderson was born May 10, 1933 in Granville Township of Kittson County, Minnesota to Martin and Ebba (Johnson) Anderson. She attended Kennedy Public School and was confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Donaldson, Minnesota. On August 24th, 1951 she married Elwood Fredrickson. The couple settled on the Fredrickson farm in Teien Township and raised their two sons, Terry and Lynn there. Ann was a member of Teien Covenant Church and was active in Ladies Aid and other church functions. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, doing puzzles and playing bingo. She loved watching her grandchildren and welcoming family and friends whenever they stopped by. Elwood passed away on October 21, 1987. Ann was currently a resident of Tamarac Senior Living Community in Stephen, Minnesota. She is survived by her sons, Terry (Kathy), Stephen, MN and Lynn (Renae), Drayton, ND; grandchildren, Jade (Wendy) Fredrickson, Lancaster, MN, Heidi (Andy) Tunheim, Wishek, ND, Lance (Kayla Noblitt) Fredrickson, North Glenn, CO, Karl (Sally) Fredrickson, Lidgerwood, ND, Shawn (Sarah) Fredrickson, Sheldon, ND, Brent Fredrickson, Drayton, ND; step grandchildren, Nicki (Scott) Kraft, Drayton, Ryan (LeAnne) Puppe, Grafton, ND and Stacy Puppe, Drayton, ND; 11 great grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; and a sister, Darlene (Alan) Frank, Lake City, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Esther Johnson.
